Project Title:
AGORADIR Project
Project Location:
Agadir Municipality
Project Duration:
This project is implemented annually for three months: March – April – May
Project Overview:
The “AGORADIR ” project is a unique initiative in the city of Agadir, aiming to reshape the space of public debate by moving discussions from closed halls to open public spaces. This shift grants young people greater freedom of expression and autonomy of thought. Through the organization of thematic intellectual and dialogic circles, the project seeks to offer youth the opportunity to engage and contribute actively to current societal issues.
The significance of this project lies in its promotion of youth roles within the framework of civic participation, by creating a dynamic space for dialogue that enables them to monitor local public policies and assess their responsiveness to citizens’ expectations, particularly within the Souss-Massa region and the city of Agadir. The project also helps instill a culture of democratic dialogue and encourages active and impactful youth involvement in shaping territorial policies.
Overall Objective of the Project:
Contribute to creating spaces for dialogue and communication for young people to strengthen local public debate, engage them in intellectual discussions on societal issues, and involve them in managing public and local affairs through the preparation, monitoring, and evaluation of public policies.
